Change is constant, but necessary for growth

2020 will be a year of change- for many things. The first one being the biggest. A few months ago, I left my beautiful office in Old Town. This came as a surprise to many of you. As my children are getting older, my needs and theirs are evolving. My goals and drive are also evolving, and these changes will allow me to serve you all better. I am currently in the middle of a buildout of a new space, located near my home. Just a few minutes off of US 127, so not a difficult drive at all- and only 12 minutes away from my old place. So hang in there with me- this change will level out soon! And you will find me refreshed and ready to expand on the awesome healing we usually find! But that also means currently that I am unable to take on new clients, for the time being. I am sorry for the inconvenience, and hopefully that won't last long! |

Effective October 1st, I will be taking appointments in my Lansing location only. Life is leading me down some different avenues, so this change will allow me to be more effective in both my personal and professional life. I want to say thank you to all my clients who have allowed me to make my "job" successful, for without you I would not be where I am on this journey called life! I have been honored and humbled to have witnessed such amazing changes for you all! I also look forward to the clients who will come along and present me with challenges and to those minds desiring change in their health and lives! I love to watch the progression happen, it makes what I do all the more gratifying. So, to you all, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the past, current and future support! :) ~Christina |
Happy Holidays!

I would like to wish you a very merry and blessed Christmas and holiday season! It is because of you that 2013 was such a successful year. I have been able to work with clients, travel to help teach, explore, expand and imprint a larger footprint than I would have thought that I, as one little person, could. It has been very gratifying to see and feel the outpouring of appreciation and gratitude I have received from many of you throughout the year. :) I am sure 2014 will bring more of the same, and I am ready to embrace it. There will be a few big changes coming early next year, all to help streamline and enhance the experiences you all have encountered so far along your journeys with me. More information will follow soon. I simply would not be able to do what I do without you. So, from the bottom of my heart, Thank You for being you! With much Love- Christina Lance |

I am now excited to say that I can add Reiki (level 1 & 2 certificate) to my tools for helping others heal! This is a light touch, and in some cases no touch (off the body) modality, which balances and restores universal energy throughout your body, promoting relaxation, which allows your body to self correct and heal. It is a nice add-on for what I already do to help others experience! |
Travel Updates- June

I am gearing up to head to St. Louis for the next week! I will be seeing clients from the 13th through the 16th. I am excited for this follow up round- to see how the initial first time clients did following their previous session, and to meet some new clients this time around. Several clients who have graced my office from out of town express their desire to find a "Christina" in their hometown. I smile inwardly at this statement- it makes me feel happy that they enjoy their sessions so much, and secondly I think- there MUST be other people out there! I am still networking away in hopes that I can find some others who work as I do to refer people to. In the meantime- a few more travel spots may be set up for me to visit and work from. Rumors of San Francisco, CA, and possibly Denver, CO, have been discussed at this point! It's a good thing I LOVE to travel and meet new people :) More so than that- I love helping others to make changes and feel better! Next up for me in July: CranioSacral for Pediatrics 2 in Florida! I am excited about that as well, to see what other cool techniques I can bring to my "lil' bits" (the kids that I see)! |
Summer is fast approaching!

Acouple special events coming in the next few months- and as always I am so excited to participate in them! Andrew Given is coming back next week for 5 days of multihands sessions (I have a feeling this will have to become a semi regular thing!) This schedule filled in less than a day of my opening it. The 2nd week of June, I will be back in St. Louis, MO for a week to see clients, and of course have some fun as well! :) Looking forward to see what changes I can help facilitate this time around! ♥ Last time, there were some amazing things that happened! In July, I will head back to West Palm Beach for Craniosacral for Pediatrics 2 (the 2nd class). I am looking forward to taking my infant/child clients to the next level with this work! For new clients- I am currently booking into the end of August. At this point, I regret that I cannot take new clients until September 2013. There will be a $25 deposit required to hold your place due at least 2 weeks prior to your scheduled date, which comes off your first session fee. You may call to be placed on a waiting list and you will be called if something opens up sooner. :) |
Spring Is Almost Here!

I apologize for not updating this blog in a while! There have been many things going on and plenty of clients to attend to! That has been the biggest challenge thus far- figuring out an even balance that allows me to take care of you and still find some time to take care of me and my kids! I think we are settling into a better routine now. I got home from St. Louis last weekend after 4 days of working on clients. We were hit by about a foot of snowfall! There were many HUGE changes for people during their sessions- I am always so humbled by the experiences others have from this work that I help facilitate! This coming weekend is another first for me- Andrew Given (massage therapist with Craniosacral training plus some other amazing talents!) is coming into town from the Chicago area to do multi-hand sessions with my clients with me. Considering how fast these 20 spots filled up, I am sure there will be another round in the works soon! Life has been full speed ahead, but I have stopped to enjoy the sunshine when it decides to show itself! :) Have a blessed week! |

I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Take some time to reflect and appreciate the lessons learned throughout 2012, as they will serve you well in 2013! I appreciate you all, and have been humbled by the countless ways you have showed me your gratitude for the part you let me play in your healing journeys! I am honored to know such wonderful, caring people! :) See you in the new year! ~Christina |
The Season of Giving Back!

As Christmas is fast approaching, I have found that this year I am avoiding the gift purchases, and finding ways to donate and give to people and places that will reach places far more beneficial than one more "trinket" to have to take care of, and eventually get rid of. My children volunteered over $300 of my budget for their Christmas gifts to go to a girl in Africa that we sponser, Gentille, and her family. It will provide clean water for their use, new clothes, food and medical care. Things we totally take for granted here! I was proud of them for this decision! At the Next Level Salon, (my Pewamo location) instead of the gift exchange we normally do, we all chipped in that money and "adopted" a family for Christmas, so they will have warm coats and gloves, plus a toy they may never get otherwise! I have donated money to several random organaziations and through my youngest son's Cubscout pack (my husband Frank is the Cubmaster) they collected and donated much needed material items to a local temporary housing shelter- The Haven House. (It is amazing how many things you can find that other people really need, and you don't, when you look!) I have been looking for that "place" I fit in, to give back, as I have been so thoroughly blessed in the year 2012. So something is coming down the line...I guess 2013 will be the magic year to make that happen! Thank you all for your support, your encouragement, and your compassion. It has not gone unnoticed and I am so very grateful and happy to have the clients that I do! :) You are all special to me! ~Christina |
December is here!

And before we know it, so will the merriment and festivities of the holidays be over. Make sure you enjoy the time you get to spend with your loved ones. As many of you know, I have been through a couple of significant losses over the past couple of weeks. It has thrown me a little curve as far as seeing clients goes, but nothing I haven't been able to iron out! :) My aunt passed away 2 weeks ago, and my Shelly momma (who was my neighbor for 11 years, as well as psuedo mom for me and grandma for my kids) passed away last week, both pretty unexpectedly. This has given me a lot of time (for me!) to sit, think, grieve, and refocus. Sometimes we all need that, a little time out to look at things and how life is going and if it's where we want to be or not. We can then make conscious decisions from that sacred space and choose where to go next. I spent several days talking and hugging with family, friends, and just reconnecting with people along the way who I haven't chatted with in a while. I just want to let you all know I am ok- life will be an adjustment for a little while, and I will have little ups and downs, but life is as it will be and I will make the most of it and dance and smile and sing, just as my Shelly would have done. As for clients, I am still steady and continuing at that pace. Right now, that means appointments are being booked for the last week of January and into February of 2013! I am so honored and blessed to know that my clients value what I have to offer them! Thank you for a wonderful 2012! It has been a journey full of love, laughter, and learning! |
